Once a healthcare professional within the NHS, I found my true calling in the world of waxing. With over seven years of experience, I have mastered the art of delivering swift, comfortable, and superior Brazilian waxing experiences.
My journey began with a strong desire to transform the often-dreaded waxing chore into a rewarding self-care routine. Trained by The Queen of Waxing herself, Kim Lawless, I learned her specialist techniques that I now bring to each of my sessions.
In my cosy home-based waxing room, I work on a one-to-one basis with my clients, creating a comfortable, private, and calming environment. I value every client’s unique needs, and my approachable, down-to-earth personality ensures they feel at ease, can relax, and even share a laugh.
I specialise in using peelable wax, offering a less painful, quicker, and more efficient waxing session. But the care doesn’t stop at the waxing table. I am passionate about providing comprehensive aftercare advice, empowering clients to maintain their smooth, fresh feeling until their next visit.

My name is Leigh, and I have always had a heart for care. For 10 years I served as a healthcare professional within the NHS, aiding people during their most vulnerable moments. This rich experience in healthcare didn’t just teach me about human anatomy and physiology, but it also underscored the fulfillment that comes from making people feel cared for and understood.
My journey into waxing began as a client myself. I’ve been on both sides of the waxing table, and I know firsthand how transformative a quality waxing service can be. After 15 years of being a waxing client, I’ve experienced it all – the good, the bad, and the in-between. I’ve learned how crucial it is to have a waxer who doesn’t just provide a service, but educates you on how to care for your skin between appointments to get the most out of your waxing.
Inspired by these experiences, and fueled by my ever-growing interest in all things waxing, I decided to pivot my career towards waxing. I trained in Brazilian waxing with one of the most respected authorities in the field, Kim Lawless. The journey wasn’t easy; in the beginning, I wrestled with self-doubt, but with patience, practice, and an incredible amount of wax, I honed my skills.
After a couple of years of building a small, loyal client base and refreshing my training with Kim, I felt a surge of confidence and an excitement to take the next step. I decided to turn my part-time passion into a full-time vocation, establishing my own specialist waxing business for women from the comfort of my home.
I want my clients to have the best of the best, so I choose to focus on what I loved most – intimate waxing using peelable wax (also known as ‘hot wax’). By narrowing down my services to intimate waxing and a few add-on services, I can ensure I offer my clients the highest quality service possible.
Being a waxing specialist isn’t just a job for me, it’s the perfect blend of everything I’m passionate about – providing exceptional customer service, interacting with diverse people, and applying my knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and waxing. My goal is to make each client feel cared for, comfortable, and confident.
With every wax you will receive aftercare advice to ensure you get the best results possible from your wax as well as caring for your skin. I believe a waxing service is 60% aftercare and 40% the wax itself. You have to put the work in between waxes to get the best out of it; it truly makes a big difference in skin condition and how comfortable waxing can be for you. I have amazing aftercare products available to purchase in my waxing room. Both myself and people I trust to give honest feedback have tried and tested these products. We love them so much and our skin is in lovely condition!
I work from my private home salon and you are not required to walk through my home to enter it. There is also a bathroom right next door to the waxing room for your convenience. You won’t cross paths with other clients either, you will have privacy. I’m based in Denton in Tameside and close by to Stockport, Manchester, Oldham, Glossop and Bury, I am easily accessible from the M60, M56, M66 & M67. Parking is free and right outside my home.
